How to Get Residence Permit in Turkey ?
1) First step that you need to take is visiting the " Foreigners Department" website. Log-on to the website and get an appointment (It is free)

Here at this step you will determine your appointment time. Your appointment time will be considered as "your application to visa date".

sometimes Foreigners Department is very busy , My advise to you " get an appointment as soon as possible" and afterwards  don't forget to get a colour copy print-out of your application!

2) Second step is preparing the necessary documents for your appointment.( Otherwise your application will not be accepted  and a new appointment  will be required )

you will need;

*Declaration for Residence Permit

*4 Portrait Photos of the applicant

* Your passport

*copies of  last entry stamp and personal details

*proof of funds ( you can check your country out about the funds you need to show to the Foreigners Department

3) You will need to go to FD in Fatih/İSTANBUL at your appointment day. You will need to pay for the residence permit book and tax etc. They will give to you a piece of paper which you will use it in another day to get your residence permit book. If you get that piece of paper you can consider yourself  that you would get your residence permit.
